Back to winning ways at Anglesey!

After the disappointment of transmission failure DNF at Oulton Park, Lee was raring to go at round 4 of the BRSCC two day’s of racing at Anglesey Circuit.

Day 1 – In sweltering heat during qualifying, Lee took pole position for the first race. A great Start and opening up a 5 second lead until a red flag incident on lap 10. After a 10 minute delay in 30 degrees of heat the race was re-started. A poor start as the tyres bogged down but still held the lead over the others as they battled for the remaining podium places.

Day 2 – Sunday still had high track temperatures, Lee took pole for the second race. Race 2 and Lee got a fantastic start to lead the entire race taking the flag.

Later Lee said ”This is my forth double win, I was really pumped up after the problems at Oulton and only mechanical failure was going to stop me”

Lee now leads the championship with 275 points with only 6 rounds remaining. Wear and tear will still play its part, so the pressure’s still on. Next race is 3rd and 4th of August at the iconic Brands Hatch. We still have room on the car for your logo, come on you sponsors.
